I continued listening to BRRRR and reading “Long-Distance…”. I’m really enjoying the listen and read. There is a lot of good information. I’m finding each section very interesting and enlightening. There is so much good information on creating a team with quality people, metrics to look for, the rehab process focusing on “forced apprecation”. I also emailed my loan officer to ask how long the process usually takes and he responded he would be hearing something tomorrow from the underwriter.

I now have a list that I compiled of cities that have at least 100k population and >= 1% population growth rate. These cities have relatively affordable housing. I have chosen markets with single-family houses in the 250k range with at least 3br/2ba. These cities include Cape Coral, Port St. Lucie, Lakeland, Palm Bay in Florida, a bunch of Texas cites, one in OK.

The amount of information available can be overwhelming. I think I’ll re-listen to the book or buy a hard copy and write some notes.
