Yesterday, my son and I met the architect and her husband at our duplex. She wanted to be able to get some work completed while she waits for the topo survey so she made measurements of the exterior of the building herself. This way she can get a first draft finished while waiting for the topo.

I sent a retainer check today to the new surveyor. They are waiting on the completion of the Record of Survey. Did I hear anything from the first surveyor about progress? Nope, of course not.

In other news, I have decided on one market so far and that is San Antonio, TX. The population is growing, there are seven Fortune 1000 companies, and the multiunit properties are relatively inexpensive compared to other parts of the country. I will continue researching markets until I choose five.

I am champing at the bit for the HELOC to close. I’d feel better about emailing agents with some capital behind me.

I finished The Multifamily Millionaire and it has me fired up.
