I have slacked on the posts this week. If something screws up my morning routine, I have a hard time getting back on track. I need to work on that.

Jim called me on Thursday saying the “junior underwriter” from the lender is having trouble reconciling my wife’s employment and her respective salary. She has to get a Verification of Employment filled-out. Hopefully, this won’t take too long because I have been waiting to actually have access to capital before I contact any agents and start building a team.

In other news, I told Jim about our plans to invest in Texas, Indiana, North Carolina, and Tennessee. I asked him if he did residential loans in these areas and he responded that he can do stated-income in these states. He then mentioned that he can do commercial loans in all 50 states and that he just finished a loan for his friend that lives in Indianapolis! He said the numbers there are incredible and that I should have a conversation with his friend. He introduced us via text and email. I am going to email him this morning. His name is KJ.

No response from the surveyor, of course. I also haven’t heard from the guinea pig tenants as to whether or not they have vacated the property yet. I think I will do a drive-by this afternoon.

Biggerpockets suggests doing as many property analyses as possible because it helps acquire a better understanding of the market and the ability to see good deals quicker. My goal is to do fifty analyses this week; Ten in each market.
