The surveyor finally billed me for the remainder of their fee and the fee for the county for recording! Hopefully, the Record of Survey will be recorded this week. In the email informing me of the status the front-office person asked me if I decided to move forward with the topographical survey; It felt nice to say “no”.

Jim has not sent the verification of employment to my wife yet which is strange because he is usually quick about things. I am getting anxious for this to close.

I continue to watch Biggerpockets videos and read my books. One of my goals this week is to run at least fifty property reports on Biggerpockets. Ten in each market. Biggerpockets has multiple “calculators” such as “rental property”, “BRRRR”, “rehab estimator”, etc. The idea behind running these reports is to get familiar with my target markets. It will be easier to spot properties that cashflow well when I am intimately familiar with the markets.

I continue to read “Commercial Real Estate Analysis and Investments” and “Confessions of a Real Estate Entrepreneur”, “What Every Real Estate Investor Needs to Know About Cash Flow” every morning, and listening to “The Multifamily Millionaire: Volume 2” when ever I can.
