I still haven’t heard from Jim. Pretty sure he’s mad at me but, oh well. I’ve never withdrawn an application so there shouldn’t be a beef.

The damn unit still smells like guinea pigs. On a positive note, though, I installed curtains last night, took pictures, listed it for rent (2600/mo) on Zillow, and pretty much have it rented today. It was getting $2002/month. YAY!

The surveyor called me yesterday and couldn’t understand why I was so upset. I explained to him that when I ask for an update, which isn’t often, I expect a reply within 24 hours. When I have to send three emails and leave a voice message to get a response, then I get angry. He says that he’s not sure what he can do to speed up the process since he submitted the survey for review. I said, “I didn’t know the survey has been submitted. The last thing I heard from you guys is billing me for the remainder of the contract and the county fees.”. His response, “I thought we talked about this”. Wrong. Anyways, I think he understands my frustration. I asked him how long the county takes for a review and he said about 90 days. I then told him he wouldn’t hear from me for 90 days. It was that easy, bud.
