I’ve been neglecting to talk about how prospective tenants who have made an appointment to view the unit decide to not show. No notice, no nothing. When I first started being a landlord, people failing to show up to appointments made me mad. Now, I know that some people just don’t care and I can deal with it because I know it’s going to happen. It does help that we leave on the property where we’re trying to fill the vacancy. Rant over.

Good news! We have a renter. Bad news, her credit is terrible. She is paying for her entire six-month lease in full, though. She just went through a divorce, seems a bit ditzy and high-strung. Did I mention I hate winter vacancies?
