We are cleared to close! We are closing on the HELOC this Friday. It will have a $285,000 limit. Our existing HELOC will be paid off, along with a couple other debts, and we’ll get a $10,000 advance.
I haven’t heard anything from the topo surveyors regarding Monday’s appointment. Hopefully, everything went well. The tenant at the duplex sent a text to my wife inquiring about the completion of the landscaping project. She was complaining about the materials around the house and that they are causing a hazard. We’ll have to take care of that because I don’t need a lawsuit.
I was just thinking on the title of my blog, and it occurred to me that winning the rat race is not exclusively about our real estate investments and the cash flow they provide. WTRR includes all forms of non-W2 income which is why I will also start including in this blog our ventures into income streams other than real estate.
I love the outdoors. I’ve been camping since I was little with my parents. We try to go as often as possible. We prefer to do dispersed camping which is outside of established campgrounds. My wife was not outdoorsy when we met but she has learned to love it. I now try to document adventures on our YouTube channel, “I Wonder Where That Road Goes”. There are only a few videos at the moment, but I am slowly adding more. https://www.youtube.com/@iwonderwherethatroadgoes7571
