The plans were supposed to be submitted sometime this week, but I haven’t heard anything from Lyla. Last we emailed, she was asking about heating and cooling solutions for the new units and also inquired about the electric panel/meter situation. There are two new panels for the existing units. I told her we’ll need three more panels; Two for the new units and a “house” meter for the laundry room and any other common electric use. That’s all the news for the ADU/garage conversion.

I gathered all my income, expenses, and improvements in spreadsheet form and sent them to our accountant. It’s nice to have that finished. What’s really nice is that I have been keeping all the tax documents, receipts, etc in Google Drive. It’s so easy to transfer the files to the accountant. I instructed her to bonus depreciate anything she can including any past improvements. I’m excited to see how that works out!
