The new tenant is all moved in. She noticed the kitchen faucet was leaking and sent me a text on Saturday evening. She instructed me to please fix it ASAP. It had a very demanding tone for a non-emergency. I showed my wife the text and she went Ricky Ricardo in my ear. I’m not sure what she said but I am fairly certain she wasn’t happy about it. Right about then, the tenant sent a second text acknowledging the time (almost 7pm on a Saturday) and the fact we have a child. She then said to please look at it when the opportunity to do so is “feasible and not disruptive”. That calmed Ricky. Last night she sent a text inquiring about the location of the breaker box was using and informed me she had a space heater plugged in. She didn’t know the wall AC is a heater as well.

I haven’t heard anything about the final recording of the Record of Survey. Does the County inform once it has been recorded? I signed the contract for the structural engineer and paid the retainer. Things are moving at a snail’s pace but they are exciting nonetheless.
