Because I wrote an entry last night, there is nothing to write about this morning. We will be signing loan documents at 1:30PM today. We are waiting for movement on the topo survey in regard to comments made internally. Do topo surveys get recorded? I still need to get closet doors for the newest tenant.

We sent a rent increase request to the housing commission for our section 8 tenant. She’s pretty irresponsible in that she doesn’t read any documents. Her excuse for not paying the previous increase was because she didn’t know. She once had to pay a late fee and got upset when she realized how much it was. Read the lease! I digress…according to the commission, the tenant is at the maximum contribution for a one-bedroom apartment. We sent a request for an increase of $580/month. I’m pretty sure she’s not going to be able to pay it and will need to vacate.
